Horizon Family Medicine continues to work with health authorities in our response to COVID-19 in Alberta. Horizon has an obligation to take reasonable steps to ensure our clinic is a safe place for our doctors, staff and patients. We, along with AHS, encourage patients to take simple, daily actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses:
Albertans should be supported regardless of their choice to mask or not. However, wearing a well-fitting, high quality mask can help to reduce the risk of becoming sick and help others from being exposed.
Please maintain good respiratory etiquette by covering coughs and sneezes.
Make the choice to stay up to date on your vaccinations, and speak to your doctor or other care provider if you have questions about options.
