Information regarding the Meet & Greet process
What you need to get started:
Have your Alberta Health Care Card ready!
Each adult needs their own Pomeló account (our secure online booking portal). This requires separate, unique (different) emails for appointment booking.
Dependents will be discussed at the appointment, and booked in at a later date (as per doctor’s instructions).

Then choose the appointment type:
New Patient Meet & Greet.
Choose a Date
Choose a date and time for your New Patient Meet & Greet – you are able to adjust the view to monthly.
Create Pomeló Account
You will be prompted to create a Pomeló account – record your information exactly as it appears on your AB Health Care Card.
Once booked, complete your registration with Pomelo – create a password and recovery PIN. We suggest you record these somewhere secure.
We’ll Review It
Staff will review the booking. We expect a high volume of bookings – your appointment may take a few days to be approved.
Approval
Once your appointment is approved, you will receive a New Patient Intake eForm in the Pomelo Portal. Please complete the eForm as soon as you are able.
Note: Completing the form includes giving staff permission to confirm with Netcare that you do not currently already have a Family Physician.
Follow-up
Staff may follow up via Pomelo or by phone should there be any questions from this review.
